Cultivating Change, Enriching Communities

Okraland Humanitarian Foundation (OHF) is a nonprofit organization based in Nepal. It is a recently (2022) established organization formed by intergenerational groups of women, youth and volunteers who are deeply motivated towards holistic human development for developing prosperous and resilient communities promoting wellbeing of marginalized and disadvantaged groups, women and children through social mobilization, empowerment and advocacy. In addition, we contribute to community transformation by channeling funds for development.

WHAT WE DO ?

  • Raise awareness and advocate for the rights and well-being of marginalized groups, women, and children, engaging with local and national stakeholders to drive positive change.
  • Develop a platform so that potential donors can learn about the foundation and its initiatives and donate directly to it for charitable purposes.
    Identify current issues in a community that come under one of the nine areas of focus, then raise awareness and concern about the problem.
  • Enhance access to quality education and skill development opportunities for marginalized groups, women, and children, enabling them to achieve personal and collective growth.
  • Mobilize community members, volunteers, and stakeholders to participate in collective efforts for sustainable development.
  • To foster a culture of inclusivity, collaboration, and intergenerational dialogue within communities, empowering all members to actively contribute to their development.
  • Create opportunities for income generation and livelihood improvement through vocational training, microfinance, and entrepreneurship support.
  • We promote intergenerational solidarity.
  • Raise funds for humanitarian initiatives.
